
Short courses in selected areas will be offered on Sunday, June 16, 2013 (the on-site registration day of the conference).
Renowned experts have been invited to teach the short courses.
These courses are addressed to the fundamentals of solid state sensors, actuators and Microsystems science and technologies. These short courses are oriented to discuss recent development/potential applications.
The lectures are given at the graduate level and typically span from the scientific basic principles to the implementation in actual devices. They are intended for PhD students and young researchers in the field, researchers who have recently entered the interdisciplinary field of sensors and actuators, and for colleagues who want to brush up their fundamental knowledge in certain fields.
A limited number of attendants are foreseen for each course and minimum number is required.
